It's a perfect example of less is more. So much more. The Last Champion is elegantly written. Every word of dialogue, organically composed and the acting so natural, I was mesmerized.

This was a very redemptive and inspirational film that took me by surprise. Nitty gritty middle America, at its best, this is a story centered around the sport of wrestling. Well-acted and scripted, and set in a lovely winter wonderland. This is one you won't want to miss!

Great story and character development!

As an old wrestler, current coach, and fan of the sport for over 50 years, this probably had the best choreographed wrestling scenes of any movie I've seen. The high school wrestling subplot throughout the movie and the close relationships between wrestlers, coaches, and parents are accurately portrayed. If you know nothing about wrestling it is still an uplifting story. Definitely worth watching.
